Memory

Ahh, the Zip drive. Like the fax machine, a technology whose time went before it ever really came. One Iomega Zip 100 drive, free to good home (where good=in possession of a serial port). "100" stands for 100MB per Zip disk. The keeper here is a 250GB external hard drive, getting a little sketchy in its connection but still pretty serviceable for music and photo storage, and miscellaneous backup.

Footwear

I've found I prefer sailing (and doing most other wet-foot activities) in sandals, with neoprene socks if necessary. Gill sailing boots, size 42 (9 US) for sale. $20 OBO, or they go to the homeless.

Coats

Dress:

Waterproof:

Coats are easy. The homeless always need them. The brown dress coat came from the thrift store (for less than $3, IIRC). Easy come, easy go. It might be a nicer coat than the pea coat, but the pea coat is more my style and was a gift. The Helly Hansen jacket was always a little lightweight and poofy for my preference, and when I saw the Marmot coat this year on sale for $32, it was pretty irresistible. The fabric's heavier and doesn't blow around in the wind like the lightweight H-H ripstop does.
